Rauchfest 2011 is a one-day festival featuring Craft Beer, German Food, Local Art, and Live Music on Saturday, September 24. Located just outside Harriet Brewery (3036 Minnehaha Ave, Minneapolis), this is an event you CANNOT miss!

Music: Live amplified music will begin at 1:30pm, and will end with the headliners New Primitives, voted the best reggae band by Minnesota Music Awards, and Butanes Soul Revue, "easily the best rompin' stompin' party blues/R&B show in town!" High Strung String Band (bluegrass) and Blue Soul Caravan (folk) will also contribute to this talented music line-up. A DJ from Harriet Brewing will play vinyl in-between sets.
Beer: A single batch of Rauchfest, a smoked Oktoberfest lager, will be specifically brewed and on tap for this festival. The cold-weather beers, Divine Oculust and Dark Abbey, will make their fall return at this festival. A total of six Harriet beers will be available on tap, each with uniquely tantalizing tastes – try them all if you can!

Food: German-style food will be available to perfectly complement the Rauchfest German-smoked lager and five other other brews. Food will include Rauchfest brats and vegetarian options from Seward Co-op, Rauchfest buns and German pastries from Sun Street Breads, Reuben sandwiches and smoked brisket from Stanley's, and more! There will also be non-alcoholic beverages from Dandelion Kitchen.

Art and Entertainment: Harriet Brewery's own Jesse Brodd will be painting at the festival – check out his work HERE. Other entertainment includes fire spinners, glass artists, and arts and craft vendors with handmade glass bead jewelry, Harriet Batik shirts, leather work, and a lot more!

RAFFLE! There will also be a RAFFLE every break in-between bands – we will be giving away t-shirts, posters, beer tickets, and the collectible 2011 Rauchfest glasses! The earlier you arrive, the greater chance you have of winning - so don't arrive too late!
